I'ts been a long long time. We are now living in Tennessee. We like it here. Grandma and Grandpa have been here to visit a few times already. They ride the greyhound and they don't mind it at all. My dad even came for a visit.
I just had a hysterectomy on December 23, 2008. I was released from the hospital on Christmas Day. What a gift. But I know it will be worth it down the road. The recovery is much more difficult than I had imagined it to be, but things are ok.
Dylan is in 9th grade at Brighton High School. His grades are pretty good. Comparing the curriculum to his old school, I'd say his grades are really good. Things run a little differently at his new school. But he seems to like it and is making some new friends. He just got a new computer and an X Box 360 so we haven't seen him in about a week, I think he's still here. I've heard doors open and close and the toilet flush a few times.
Isabelle is getting ready to start pre school two day a week. She's so excited about it. She got her little backpack momogramed and got a lunch box. She asks me every morning if today is the day she goes to preschool. She just had her Christmas ballet/tap recital. She was ADORABLE. I swear she stold the show. It was the cutest thing. I'll post some pictures up later. She's 3 going on 23. She is such a drama queen. We love her to pieces.
Olivia is almost 2. And she is a riot. She's the comedian, Isabelle is the actress. Olivia knows she's funny too. That's the best part. We encourage her to say words we like to hear her say over and over. Like "yes". The way she says it is just so darn cute you wanna eat her little mouth. She just randomly walks around the house will lift her little shirt and say "boobie" and laugh hysterically. I mean, how do you not laugh at that?
Rob is working, working, working. And when he has free time he works. He did, after 6 months, get the garage cleaned out. I'm proud of him for that. I just hope we don't have to move in 6 months and take it all out of the attic. What a job. He's been taking care of the kids while I'm healing and taking it easy. He thinks I'm milking this, but I promise you I'm not. I'm tired of feeling like this. I want to cook and clean and pick up my sweet babies. Grandma stayed and helped me for almost 2 weeks. She's leaving soon. I don't know what I'm going to do without her. But Rob is a great dad and am great husband. He really takes care of us and we don't give him the praise he deserves sometimes. He is a blessing to me and to our children.
